Our Story

In 2006, James and Katie Margolles were in their early 20s when they started Island Pure, a small water purification business out of their Florida Keys garage. Driven by their passion for the environment, they aimed to offer a service that would benefit their community while reducing the use of plastic water bottles commonly found in offices.

Fast forward to 2023, and James and Katie have disrupted the water industry yet again with Stratus, a game-changing company that flips the office water cooler status quo on its head. Stratus eliminates waste, plastic, and contaminated water while also providing a reliable alternative to city water.
